Premier Mill Hotel

Built in 1891 by Frederick Henry Piesse, the Premier Roller Flour Mill has stood as a symbol of Katanning’s innovation and adaptability. Originally the town’s central flour mill, it quickly became more than just a place of production—powering the town with electricity and lighting, and supporting different industries including cordial manufacturing, viticulture, and fruit processing.

Over time, it transformed into a thriving commercial and retail hub. Today, after decades of reinvention, the Mill proudly lives on as the Premier Mill Hotel, complemented by the Cordial Bar and the local Dome Café—continuing its legacy at the heart of the community.

The Premier Mill Hotel has the exciting spaces, the food & beverage and the team to bring your individual special occasion to life. Within our old mill we have a range of spaces that can cater for a group of ten through to a sit down meal for 100 guests.
