The Katanning Town Hall

The foundation stone of the Katanning Town Hall was laid on August 22, 1896, thanks to a generous donation of 10,000 bricks from F&C Piesse. Since then, the hall has stood as a central part of Katanning’s civic and social life.

Over the years, it has been home to important institutions such as the Mechanics Institute, the Roads Board, and the Agricultural Committee. More than just a place of governance, the Town Hall has served as a key gathering place for the local community, hosting events, meetings, and celebrations.
