Resin Flora Riverboard Workshop
Unleash your creativity and create a beautiful, functional piece of art at our Resin Flora Riverboard Workshop at the Katanning Hub CRC.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own 30cm floral resin riverboard using premium Merbau timber. Choose from a beautiful selection of real pressed flowers and foliage, design your arrangement, and learn how to mix and pour crystal-clear, food-safe epoxy resin.
Perfect for beginners, a creative date night, or an evening out with friends. All materials are provided, and there will also be nibbles to enjoy while you create.

What You’ll Do
- Choose from a selection of real pressed flowers and foliage
- Design your floral arrangement within the river channel
- Learn the fundamentals of mixing and pouring epoxy resin
- Learn how to seal and care for your Merbau timber board
- Create your own unique piece to take home once fully cured
No previous resin experience is required. You’ll be guided through the process step by step.

Workshop Safety
Participants must be 18 years or older.
Due to fumes produced while working with and curing epoxy resin, this workshop is not recommended for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Those with severe asthma, respiratory conditions or chemical sensitivities should seek medical advice before attending.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Please note that monetary refunds are not available if you are unable to attend.
If you cannot attend, your booking will instead be converted to a premium Take-Home DIY Kit, including the 30cm Merbau timber round, pressed flowers, measured resin portions, PPE and step-by-step written instructions.
Your kit will be available for collection from the CRC the following Monday.
Collection of Your Finished Riverboard
Resin requires approximately 24 to 48 hours to fully cure, so your finished riverboard will remain at the CRC after the workshop. A collection time will be arranged once your piece is ready.
