Let’s Talk Marriage

Please join me for this FREE 2.5 workshop in Katanning designed specifically for Muslim sisters!

NOTE: Non-Muslim sisters interested in learning about this topic are also welcome 🙂

– We will talk about things like:
– What matters most to us when it comes to marriage?
– What’s the difference between consent and coercion?
– When it comes to getting married, what are our rights under the law?
– What if I/someone I know is being made to marry someone they don’t want to?
– What happens if someone is tricked into being taken overseas for a marriage? How can we help them?

– Time: 12pm-2.30pm
– Where: Katanning Library & Gallery (16 Austral Terrace, Katanning WA 6317)
– Cost: FREE
– Catering: provided (free and halal certified)
