A dedicated friendly group of Volunteers from diverse backgrounds, careers and ages make up our Sub Centre.
The majority are active Ambulance Officers. We also have Volunteer Development Officers, Permanent Part Time Transport Officers and Casual Transport Officers.
The Volunteer Ambulance Officers provide a 24/7 service to the Community. It doesn’t matter what time it is, or what the weather is, they attend if possible, as they are very proud of the service they provide.
We also have Volunteer Support Officers who don’t go out on calls, but are on Committee or doing roles around the Sub Centre such as stores ordering, checking ambulances, checking equipment, or creating social events. There is something for everyone.
We are a busy Sub Centre, and our Officers attend training twice per month to keep their skills up to date. We are very fortunate to be supported by our Community Paramedic at training and if required, out on a job.
Office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 9.30 am to 4.30 pm or go online to stjohnwa.com.au
