Aaron Williams is a proud Menang man with deep ancestral ties to the Albany area, particularly the Torndirrup region to the south-west of the Albany townsite. He also has traditional connections to Balingup and across to Busselton in Wadandi country. On his father’s side, his family’s connections span from Kaneang country through to Bremer Bay in Goreng Country. His grandfather, Eddie Williams, passed down the story that their tribe, the Bardok people, hailed from Ngadju country, which stretches from Ravensthorpe to Esperance. On his father’s mother’s side, the family’s heritage extends a further two hundred kilometres east to the traditional camp at Thomas River.

A multi-talented professional, Aaron has extensive experience in the crane industry and recently attained accreditation as a High Risk Worksafe Assessor, becoming the only Aboriginal in the Great Southern region to hold this distinction. He is also a qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, ensuring that the machinery he and his team operate meets the highest safety standards. Aaron has worked on high-profile projects, including the construction of the Albany Entertainment Centre, the new Albany Health Campus, the Albany Ring Road, and the installation of new lifts at the Albany Town Hall, among many other local and regional ventures.

Bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience, and networks to his business, Aaron is also dedicated to uplifting his community. As a proud Menang Noongar man with traditional ties to the area, he is passionate about providing training and employment opportunities for Noongar youth, ensuring a lasting positive impact on his community.
