Assembler / Service Technician
Burando Hill is seeking an experienced Assembler / Service Technician to join our Katanning team.
This is a hands-on role suited to a practical person with strong mechanical ability and experience in machinery assembly, fitting, servicing, or similar workshop work. Trade qualifications or trade experience would be highly regarded, but are not essential.
You will be involved in the assembly, servicing, repair, preparation, and finishing of agricultural machinery and equipment, primarily in the workshop and, where required, at customer locations.
About the role
In this role, you will:
- assemble machinery and equipment to the required standard
- carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work
- assist with fault finding, testing, adjustments, and rework where required
- support machine preparation, finishing, presentation, and workshop duties
- assist with painting, paint preparation, masking, and finishing work where required
- undertake training in painting processes and finishing work if required
- complete job sheets, checklists, and records accurately
- work safely and contribute positively to workshop operations
About you
To be suited to this role, you will ideally have:
- experience in machinery assembly, mechanical fitting, servicing, or similar hands-on work
- sound mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving ability
- good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- the ability to follow instructions, drawings, and checklists
- a reliable and team-focused approach
- a current driver’s licence
Trade qualifications, forklift licence, and agricultural machinery experience would be an advantage, but are not essential.
